Gilbert. Oh god. In a dark theater with Mr. Awesome himself. Not that you were complaining.
You looked over in his direction and saw he was also looking in your direction. Gilbert gave you the ‘sup biach’ look with his usual devious smirk and jumped over one seat so he was right next to you.
“You laughed a bit and poked his arm. “Sup bro?” You asked playfully.
“Nothin’ much frau.” He responded, still smirking. “Hey, I’m gonna get some snacks for us, kay?”
“Alright then Mr. Awesome!” You joked, smiling.
Gilbert nodded and quickly got up to get some snacks. His face had dusted with a light pink as he got up, but you didn’t know that.
I got up and walked to the snack bar, passing rows of darkened seats and out the door. I approached the snack bar and I wondered what kind of snack I should get. What would she like? I looked at everything in the showcase and finally I decided on a bag of kisses.
“Uh, zat bag of kisses please.” I said as I pulled out my wallet.
The guy at the counter handed me the bag of chocolate and I started walking back towards the door I originally came out of.
‘Yeah, a crap load of kisses was a good choice!’ I thought myself. Then, an idea popped into my head. I was going to have a little fun with ________. A little scary fun. I smiled as I walked through the doors and crouched low. Then, I tip toed up the stairs through the shadows.
*~*~*~*3rd person POV*~*~*~*
You waited in your seat, slightly fidgeting.
“God he’s taking a long time.” You thought aloud.
You turned your attention back to the movie and watched the girl sit in dead silence on screen. Your heart started beating in anticipation, waiting for something to happen.
Then, it hit. On screen, all the cupboards flew open and things went flying. At the same time, a pair of hands grabbed your shoulders and you heard a ‘rawr’ sound in your ear.
You screamed at the top of your lungs in fear. Everyone else was screaming too, but not for your reason.
When you finished screaming, you looked to your left and saw Gilbert clutching his stomach and laughing hard.
You punched him and pulled your knees up to your chest on your chair. Then you buried your face into your knees.
You heard his laughing subside as he took a seat beside you. You felt a hand on your shoulder and you looked up.
“What do you want.” You said grumpily.
Gilbert was still smiling but he held out his hand. Sitting in the palm of his hand were
two Hersheys kisses. “I brought you a snack.”
You smiled a bit and took one, popping it in your mouth.
“Not funny Gil.” You said smoothly.
“Okay, your right, it wasn’t funny. It was awesomely hilarious!” Gilbert laughed, smirking.
“Tch, whatever. I’m gonna get you back someday.” You promised, putting another kiss in your mouth.
“Hey, can I have one of those?” Gilbert asked.
“Sure.” You said, tossing a chocolate at him.
He caught it, but shook his head, blushing slightly.
“What?” You questioned.
“I didn’t mean one of those.” Gilbert said, putting the chocolate down.
“Then what did you-..!” you cut off your question, realizing what Gilbert had actually meant. Your face darkened with a red blush as you looked down. You looked up again and saw Gilbert with a combination of a serious and playful look. You leaned a bit closer to him as if to signal something in some way.
“__-_______...” Gilbert hesitated.
“Yes.” You whispered.
“…I-Ich liebe dich.” Gilbert said before closing the gap between the two of you with his lips meeting yours.
You were hesitant at first, but kissed back within the first three seconds. You put your arms around his neck as you felt his hands slide around your waist. The kiss lasted through a segment of the movie that had everyone screaming their loudest. Everyone but you and Gilbert. You both eventually pulled back for air and you looked at him, smiling.
“Ich liebe dich, Gil.” You said.
“Good.” He said hugging you.
For the rest of the movie, you sat in Gilbert’s arms, never screaming at anything in the movie, because you knew that you would be safe. Because you had Gilbert.
